Acoustic electric Guitars: this is a term used to describe acoustic guitars that have pickups installed in them so they can be plugged into amplifiers or PA systems. The majority of acoustic guitars you see on stage are acoustic electric guitars. Structurally, they are identical to traditional acoustic guitars.

(0 vote) Electric Bass Guitars & Amplifiers by Victor Epand. Electric bass guitars require external amplification in much the same way that standard electric guitars do - and for the same reasons. There are several electric bass guitars with a hollow body, similar to that found on acoustic guitars, and this helps to provide some extra tone to the voice. However, electric bass guitars still require external amplification to be heard, and to provide the voic... products, articles
(0 vote) Electric Guitars And The World Of Harmonics by Victor Epand. In the world of electric guitars you may well hear a good deal about harmonics, but ask anyone exactly what is meant by harmonics, or how harmonics effects are produced, and more often than not you will be met with silence. Line 6 Relay G30 Wireless Guitar and Bass System - Nevada Music UK | |
|
http://www.nevadamusic.co.uk/Guitars/... The Line 6 Relay G30 is a fantastic new wireless system for Guitar and Bass. Its the first affordable system that uses digital transmission which makes it interference free and without the tone crunching compression and artifacts that you normally have to put up with when using a wireless system.
The transmitter is nice and small and light and idiot proof easy to work out. The receiver is guitar pedal size so it can simply live next to any pedals you use or next to your amp. 6 available channels means the rest of the band can get one too and the 30 mtr quoted range is plenty unless your playing at Wembly stadium next week. It also uses a regular short guitar lead to connect the guitar to the belt pack so you don't have to worry about breaking or loosing any special weird lead.
We had great fun testing the relay G30 around our large music store and had no problems at all until we ran down the road and went miles out of range just to see how far it would go. Works brilliant on bass too unlike most wireless systems which sound awful unless you spend big bucks. Highly recommended and jolly affordable too.
Note, the slight distortion you can hear is the camcorder mic overloading as the Marshall amp was up a bit LOUD!!! ooops sorry....
